wow... :O faster than my comment. ;) <forget_this>I'm very sorry, could you change this to crash? Thank you.</forget_this> Within this week I have had three crashes with kontact, which is quite inusual. These are this one, https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139822 and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139633. I think later one should be isolated, the the first two maybe related. I don't know, just wondering...

As I see it last part of the backtrace is the same and follow this pattern: (1st column belongs to Myriam BT and 2nd where available to my BT. Both Myriam BT are the same at this stage.) QSingleShotTimer::event or ~QSingleShotTimer QApplication::internalNotify QApplication::notify KApplication::notify () QApplication::sendEvent QEventLoop::activateTimers QEventLoop::processEvents QEventLoop::enterLoop QEventLoop::exec or QMouseEvent QApplication::exec or QApplication::exit Altough the event that triggered the crash hhas different sources comparing Myriam and my experiences, seems that there's something strange in the QSingleShotTimer class. HTH.
The thirs bug I meant actually is: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139652
Since my Upgrade from Ubuntu Breezy to Ubuntu Edgy kontact/kmail very often crashes. The last times it was when I tried to delete an email. Seems that the bactrace on #6 has not much to do with the previous ones. Christopher, I suggest creating a new bug or reviewing the bugs related to kmail and imap which could be the cause of this one.
The bug from comment #6 has already been reported, so do not open a new report for that one. I don't remember the bug number now.
the original report looks pretty random (could be anything) and there are two other reports discussed here - that are dups of something else.
