Description gmud 2007-01-09 15:06:35 UTC
Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.6 (Gentoo 3.4.6-r1, ssp-3.4.5-1.0, pie-8.7.9)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-suspend2

When I am offline (e.g. I forgot to dial-in) and I am trying to send an email kmail shows an error message and then puts the mail in the outbox for sending it at a later time. Now, when I am connected I have to go to the outbox, double click the message (unless I have set to send mail when "Get mail" has been clicked) and send it again. I think it would be better to give the user just another chance to send it before it goes to the outbox. You could offer another button "Retry".

Note that you can send your outbok from its conext menu.

I think this one could be closed : I wrote a mail and clicked send when no network was available. I then quit KMail and suspended. Upon resume, my network connection went up, and upon starting kmail the message was sent with no intervention from me. Not sure how this works when kmail stays active during connection state changes. KMail with KDE SC 4.7.1.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.

Let's resolve this one as fixed
