Version:           1.9.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler:          gcc 4.1.1-13 g++ same version 
OS:                Linux

It would be nice to be able to use the same transport each time I email a certain recipient without having to select it each time; selecting transports on a per-recipient basis.  I do not see this capability in kmail.

If I could do it in the KDE address book, that would be fine.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.

This feature clearly hasn't been implemented as of KDE SC 4.8.
