Description Bernd Wurst 2006-12-13 23:19:10 UTC
Version: 1.4.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

When I open a M3U playlist via konqueror, I'm asked to load it into amarok, which is exactly what I want. ;-)
But amarok loads this as if if was a music file and passes the file directly to XINE, which is no happy with the data it gets.

amarok should first decide what type of file it gets and then do the right action and not to be dump and pass everything to xine what's retrieved via URL.

Example: listen to any album on jamendo.com.

Additional: When I save this file to disk and load the playlist, everthing's ok. When I open the *.m3u file from local konqueror, everthing works. Weird.

Jamendo sends files as audio/x-mpegurl, maybe that's the problem...
