Description David Corbin 2006-12-06 13:27:26 UTC
Version: 1.9.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

MS Outlook sends "invitations" as text/calendar. KMail seems to recognize this, and builds a special "invitation" view, but the "Start Time" and "End Time" completely ignore the timezone. Looking at the attachment, here are the relevant lines:

DTSTART:20061206T200000Z
DTEND:20061206T203000Z
DESCRIPTION:When: Wednesday\, December 06\, 2006 3:00 PM-3:30 PM
  (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada).\nWhere: Dev

When these are displayed in kmail, they're deisplayed as:
--- start (with irrelevant portions removed) ---
What:
  Start Time: 2006-12-06 20:00
  End Time: 2006-12-06 20:30
Description:

  When: Wednesday, December 06, 2006 3:00 PM-3:30 PM (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada).
 Where: Dev Lab
---end---

You'll notice that the StartTime is completely ignore the Zulu (Z) designation.

Both the sender and are in the US/Eastern.
