Description Vadym Krevs 2006-12-06 11:00:03 UTC
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.5.5 "release 45.2" , openSUSE )
Compiler: Target: x86_64-suse-linux
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.16.21-0.25-smp

"Find messages" dialog fails to find any messages in an IMAP folder when 3 or more search criteria of the following form ("From", "contains", "email") are specified. "Match any of the following" is used. When only 2 criteria are specified, then everything works fine. If I change one criterion to ("From", "matches regular expr.", "email") then everything works,
but each time the search is executed, KMail re-downloads all messages from the IMAP folder to disk, which is time-consuming.

Also, why is it impossible to specify more than 8 search criteria - Thunderbird does not impose such restrictions. The use case is that I'd like to select all messages from a group of people and that group contains more than 8 persons.

In KDE 4.3 this works for me
