Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I understand this is a service-provider specific request. I manage my bookmarks via yahoo bookmarks since I always find myself at least temporarily using someone else's system from time to time. I have a toolbar of multiple subfolders set up on it, and it works great. Because I manage my stuff there, I'd like a File->Import->Import Yahoo Bookmarks for when I spend some time poking around a certain part of the web on a friend's system and adding or updating some bookmarks, and then return home and continue my work on my home system. kfmclient copy 'http://bookmarks.yahoo.com/config/export_bookmark?.commit=1' . works when I'm logged in to my my.yahoo.com account, and copies my yahoo bookmarks into ./export_bookmarks just fine. It loses the meta-info that the folder named 'Toolbar' is my toolbar folder, but that's either a simple thing to fix or the subject of another wish :-) Thank you for an excellent suite of software.
Yahoo bookmarks has changed recently; the new command would be kfmclient copy 'http://bookmarks.yahoo.com/tools/export?location=all&expformat=ff' . to export them in firefox format, or kfmclient copy 'http://bookmarks.yahoo.com/tools/export?location=all&expformat=ie' . to export them in ie format.
