Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages Hello, I love basket. I have a lot of ideas in my baskets, but it would be nice if I can manage and connect them with edges in a basket. Like kdissert for example. Example: My basket "Next Meeting" contains many buzzwords ;), graphs and arguments. Now it would be nice if I can structure it with edges to a discussion process.
I just tried kdissert. Been using FreeMind for occasional mind mapping so far. What I dislike about FreeMind is it's lack of making maps more organic - as it should be - allowing you to position notes wherever you want, even above or below the main node. And kdissert is great in that regard. But I don't like it's input methods and the way it manages information... Now if we could have the ability to connect notes as in kdissert (thus forming mind maps) with the ease of entering and managing information we currently have in BasKet, that would be just awesome! Now, I presume it would require a lot of work, but I just have to vote for this one!
Yesterday I was meeting a business partner. He have a nice idea: he will design his workframe for his trainees with basket. So he need edges between programs, documents and so on. I hope that would be possible in the next time.
