Description Franck Bourdonnec 2006-11-28 13:24:33 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Many users have no idea of what BCC is. When sending a message to multiple recipient, Kmail should explain the user the following (and suggest BCC)

-virus/spam: if one recipient is compromised, it will be happy to receive new email address in CC field.
-privacy (maybe X hates Y and won't be happy to exchange address with him)
-...

CC is ok for a "working group", bad for sending your latest 'photo' to your address-book.

A treshold (of 3 recipients?) should be added in options, to activate the 'warning'.

Having some more explanation - perhaps in a tooltip - would indeed be nice

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
