Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Keyboard shortcuts. It is possible to invoke Klipper popup menu. However it would be even more useful to invoke popup menu with history only. And not near the klipper icon but in center of current (active) window. This way with adding http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59556 immediate paste feature it make writing text really fast.
You can configure the popup to show at the cursor position. And the popup has only few options besides the history, so that's hardly worth an additional option.

I disagree (reopened) -- it is not the problem with quantity but quality. This popup menu for getting into previous entry should be extreme help while typing. But there are such options like "quit" or "clear history". When you are in rush it is easy to hit such option and instead of help you are in trouble. I think it is useful to present for writers only such options that enhance writing, not make uncomfortable all the time, because one option down and instead of time-saving it is time-wasting.
