To successfully reproduce the following issue, you need either a 
new KDE installation or a purged (removed) khelpcenter search index.

- Select a random application, and call help (eg. by pressing F1). Khelpcenter pops up and ask you if you want to create the search 
index. 
- Don't answer the question, leave the dialog open, and focus back your random application. 
- Call help again. Khelpcenter should crash.

Here is the backtrace of the crash, if it is of any help. I don't
have debugging symbols, and use the standard debian packages.
