Description Willi Richert 2006-11-22 20:35:23 UTC
Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.2, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.2-0ubuntu18.1 dapper)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-26-386

1. When using either bogofilter or spamassassin as generated by the anti spam wizard kmail seems to have some problems on my IMAP account: The mails are duplicated after the filtering. Sometimes I get the same mail duplicated 16 times.

2. Every time I switch to the INBOX folder also the already filtered messages are downloaded then filtered and uploaded again onto the folder, even when they've been filtered already.

I observe the same thing with KMail 1.9.5 (using KDE 3.5.5).
Comparing two messages that look duplicates there is the following difference:

29c29
< X-UID: 14945
---
> X-UID: 14956

Which component changes the X-UID - bogofilter, KMail, something else?
