Description Maciej Pilichowski 2006-11-21 18:44:22 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

As far as I can see (as a "tutor") it would be useful to configure the way the programs appear. Please add the ability to configure:
* those _big_ tooltips for running programs -- now the title is displayed, but it would be useful to display only program name
* "style" of (running) program title
o document name - program name (this is hardcoded now)
o program name - document name
  o program name
  o document name

Or simply provide independent settings where the (advanced) user could prepare KDE settings and put for example:
%document -- %program %time
Of course %time here is a bit of extravaganza :-)))) Just to show the possibilities.

The problem is the user runs "mail program" and all of the sudden she/he gets "Local folder/inbox - KMail". When several programs (>3) are launched the user is confused. Is this "Local folder" is "mail program" or not? It especially true for languages where the nouns are not so short as in English. It is hard to read it fast (tooltip timer is clicking!) and analyze.
