Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          gcc-4.1.1-r1 
OS:                Linux

In KDE-Version 3.5.4, when I opened a message, it kept beeing marked unread, so I could chose, whether I wanted it to be marked as read or not by myself. In KDE-Version 3.5.5, this is no longer the case. As soon as I open a message, it gets marked as read. I think, there should be an option to enable or disable this behaviour.

In KDE 4.3 there is one.
