Description Andras Georgy Bekes 2006-11-16 12:49:39 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)

I am using a dante socks proxy, and while other protocols (Jabber, ICQ, AIM) work, MSN has problems on connecting.

Sometimes it is able to connect, sometimes it isn't. The little butterfly icon shows that it is connecting for a pretty long time (10-30 sec), and then stops with no error message. How can I get the MSN plugin show some debug information about what it is doing and why it is unable to connect?

Switching to the http protocol does not help.
(Anyways, if I set the http protocol, does it go through the http proxy or through the socks proxy? Both are working with other apps.)
