Description Edgar Ibsen 2006-11-15 04:43:25 UTC
Version: 1.6.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When I try to replace a regular expression with something that uses placeholders, KSpread will replace the matched regular expression with literal placeholder symbols ('\1', '\2', etc.), even when the placeholder box is checked. This is happening on cells that are 'text' format; I do not know if the other formats are affected.

this seems to be a limitation of the KReplace class in kdelibs, so re-assigning to there.
