Description Maciej Pilichowski 2006-10-30 20:55:00 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Problem: viewing some pdf file with kpdf. I press next page several times but kpdf is too slow to render all this pages. When I release the key, kpdf still scrolls the doc.

It would be great to be able to set such indicator -- for example, it there are more than 10 (option) keystrokes buffered, show the small keyboard icon (OSD) plus the size of buffer. This way, user could control the app more reasonable.

KDE doesn't buffer keystrokes. This happens way deeper in the stack, so I see no way to do this in general terms.
