Description Hasso Tepper 2006-10-28 13:13:42 UTC
Version: 3.5.5 (using KDE 3.5.5, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18.1

While wrapping text, whitespace is no stripped, but taking into account in text space calculations. If whitespace (in position where wrapping takes place) in the string doesn't fit into the end of the line, it is actually rendered in next line.

The wrapping happens in KWordWrap, which is a kdelibs component. So I re-assign it to kdelibs.
Comment 3 Christoph Cullmann 2024-09-14 17:06:45 UTC
Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have resolved this bug.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
