Description Max Weinberg 2006-10-25 19:40:36 UTC
Version: 2.3.2 (using KDE 3.5.4, Arch Linux)
Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-ARCH

I have an usb data-cable with cp2101 usb2serial converter chip. Modem device is respectively ttyUSB0. When I use Minicom or pppd/chat scripts everything works!
But when I try to use terminal or connect to gprs internet by means of kppp I can see only strange chars '^@'. Then until I reconnect my usb data-cable, I can't get internet even with my pppd/chat scripts, they also show this chars.
Google says that there is no problem with SuSE's KInternet, only with kppp. So I decided that it is kppp particularity.

(Sorry for my English :)
Best wishes,
Max Weinberg.
