Description Daniel Tryba 2006-10-25 11:15:57 UTC
Version: 0.12.3 (using KDE 3.5.5, Debian Package 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-1 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17.6

An incoming jabber message without the type attribute (implicitly it should be considered "normal" according to rfc3921) is shown correct in the "incoming message balloon". But clicking view results in an empty window.

Following xmlpp will trigger this on my machine:
<message id='D152M-3' to='sndr@example.org' from='sndr@example.org/M2JNotify'><subject>default subject</subject><body>this is a message
</body></message>

This is reproducable on my machine, on a coworkers machine clicking view will open the message in a chat window (IMHO an undesirable effect). So this might be related to some config option (which one?), though I didn't change anything since I installed it from the Debian/unstable package yesterday.

Please update to newer version as we don't have manpower to support Kopete in
KDE 3. If you still see this bug in new version please reopen this bug report.
