Description jfvasconcelos 2006-10-20 19:21:39 UTC
Version: 2.5.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

It would be very nice to have automatic / inline / on the fly spell check in katepart. Some applications such as Kile are strongly based on Katepart and would greatly benefit from it.

Actually, users are really excited with Kile, but they all miss the inline spell check. See

and the developer quotes
"The editor used by kile (katepart) does not have this functionality and starting from scratch seems to be quite hard. I don't know if the kde4 version of katepart has this feature."

Thank you
