Version: 2.5.1 (using KDE 3.5.1 Level "a" , SUSE 10.1) Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.21-0.25-default It is possible to add an "external program" via "customize kate" f.e. "Run Script with Pause", but the new external program is not stored at all by clicking OK or Apply unless "executable file(Ausführbare Datei)" and "command line name(Befehlszeilennname)" are specified. No error message occures if these fields are left out.
Moreover the 'Save'("Speichern") option is not kept between subsequent configurations of an external script. Save - no/actual/all Documents
resolved under kdebase3-3.5.6-67.1
The self added command is still forgotten if the entered script contains errors (in the first line). The user should be informed if errors have been found in the script. Even worse the whole script code is deleted if kate does not like it. There should at least be a possibility to invoke *.js as well.
