Description Gyuri Frivolt 2006-10-09 10:51:56 UTC
Version: 1.9.4 (using KDE 3.5.4, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.4-0ubuntu2~dapper1 )
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-27-686

Often I create filters for a person or for a list of people. However, it is quite cumbersome as I can only create a filter on email address, but often people have more email addresses, or change them over time. In such cases I need to change/add the email address on two places: in address book and also in the filter.
I would like to be able to filter out emails from a person from whatever email address the email came from. This would mean that when I define a filter the address book search dialog opens and I can choose the person(s) I wish to filter.

May I second the request for a filter based on address book entry. It would certainly simplify my filters and filter-maintenance a lot.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
