Description Mohd Asif Ali Rizwaan 2006-10-09 05:07:45 UTC
Version: 3.5.4 (using KDE 3.5.4, Frugalware Linux)
Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.18-fw1

Firstly, it's not about KHTML (web browser) but for "File Manager."

When we change KDE Color Scheme, The "Standard Background" is applied as expected but the "Standard Text" Color is always "Black" which is unexpected. "The Standard Text color should also be changed with the change in Color Scheme.

Choose CDE, or High Contrast Black Color schemes (kcmshell colors), and please observe that the text is not visible because konqueror doesn't not reflect the change in KDE color scheme. The Sidebar/Tree shows the change appropriately.

Expected Behavior:
konqueror->Settings->Appearance-> "Normal Text Color" (is black) should change/correspond to "Standard Text Color" in kcmshell colors.

Please synchronize "Normal Text Color" of konqueror file manager with "Standard Text Color" of KControl color module, for better visibility and non-offensive look of konqueror file manager.

Thanks.
