Description Sergio 2006-10-06 13:28:33 UTC
Version: 1.9.4 (using KDE 3.5.4, compiled sources)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-22mdksmp

I have an imap account, say "ACCOUNT XXX". In this account there is a FOLDER "AAA" with a subfolder "BBB". I am trying to set up a filter so that messeges in Inbox of "ACCOUNT XXX" are moved on "AAA/BBB" when the subject mathes a pattern.

Unfortunately, this does not work. Filter logs show that the pattern matches and that the action is triggered, but the move action is not performed.

i sometimes get this, though not consistently.

I also see this with KMail 1.9.5 (KDE 3.5.5, debian etch packages).

I have a filter set up to manually apply to spam messages that should move them to a spam folder. The other commands in the filter work, but the message re-appears in the inbox. I have an all IMAP setup - the starting folder (inbox) is in the same IMAP account as the destination spam folder.

I am seeing this too in Kontact 1.2.9 on Ubuntu 8.04. The same filter will successfully move a message to a *local* folder, but not to an IMAP folder. When a spam message slips past my (server-side) filters, I want to use this to move it into a folder where false-negatives are kept.

For me recent kmail versions move messages reliably. Please report if this is still an issue for you.

It works here, too.
KMail 1.12.2 (Kontact 4.3.2)
KDE 4.3.2 on Kubuntu Karmic 9.10
Thanks.
