Version: 1.70.1 Round Robin (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux hey, It'd be cool to have buttons to switch between hdd's or partitions like the total commander on windows has (http://www.ghisler.com/images/wcmdbig.gif - buttons a, c, d, g, 0, \), this makes it a lot more easier other than typing everytime the location to the partition or hdd. another cool idea would be to have profiles for the network connections (e.g a profile for a certain ftp connection, then you don't have to re-type the login and password again and again) i don't want an exact copy of total commander, but these were cool features that I somehow "miss", other than that krusader is an excellent program and I swear I can't live without it anymore! keep up the good work!
In recent versions of Krusader (almost any modern distro), you can press Ctrl+M (configurable shortcut) to popup the media button where you can choose the partition. The Media Button is visible by default, but can be hidden in Konfigurator. Network connections can be accessed from the location bar (just beneath the Media Button), under the Network sub-menu, at the moment there is no shortcut from keyboard; you can also type "remote:/" in the the location bar. You cannot create a new connection from Krusader (there is another bug pending on it), this can be done from Dolphin. Credentials are held in Kwallet, so Krusader won't ask for them.
