Description Maciej Pilichowski 2006-09-29 11:57:02 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

Make a simple html page with

<textarea>
a
</textarea>
<textarea>
b
</textarea>

Show it in Konq. Select "a". Select "b". Now, both a and b are selected.

Couldn't reproduce with 3.5.5 from debian.
Comment 2 Maciej Pilichowski 2006-10-29 10:45:13 UTC
Use keyboard, not mouse. Do not use synchro clipboards (klipper).

Dear user,

KHTML (and KJS) was a long time more or less unmaintained and got removed in KF6.

Please migrate to use a QWebEngine based HTML component.

We will do no further fixes or improvements to the KF5 branches of these components beside important security fixes.

For security issues, please see:

https://kde.org/info/security/

Sorry that we did not fix this issue during the life-time of KHTML.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
