Version: 1.9.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Gentoo Packages Compiler: gcc 4.1.1 OS: Linux Try to compose a mail to yourself and setting the encoding to ISO-10646-UCS-2. Writing some normal ASCII chars in the body and pressing send results in a warning box about losing some chars due to the encoding. I press "Lose chars" and send the mail. When trying to view the source of the mail in the inbox (pressing V), the result produced is trashed (probably kmail tries to display the source as unicode, instead of plain ascii).
