Description Toshiro 2006-09-26 22:54:18 UTC
Version: 3.5.4-2+b1 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I have a dual-head system (no Xinerama); when I click on kpager to change virtual desktops nothing happens. This error only happens in the secondary monitor, in the primary monitor it works ok.

Also (I'm not exactly sure if it's related), but I can't use the mouse wheel to move to another virtual desktop in the secondary monitor; it works ok in the primary monitor.

Regards,

This bug is not resolved as of KDE 3.5.5 and is NOT a duplicate of 32911.

Just to clarify: I have a separate instance of kpager running in the second display in a dual-head setup (it's not running within kicker); the problem is that kpager is useless, I click there to switch to another virtual desktop and nothing happens; I also tried to drag an application from a virtual desktop and move it to another but this doesn't work either.

Please notice (again) that this is not a duplicate of 32911, kpager has been working perfectly in previous versions of KDE; I don't remember exactly when it got broken, but I think in 3.4.3 it was running ok.

Please let me know if you need further information, of course I'm willing to help as much as I can to solve this issue.

kpager has been unmaintained for many years. If the issue in this report still exists in or applies to the pager plasamoid in KDE SC 4.11, please reassign this report or create a new report against the widget-pager component under product plasma.
