Description Wolfgang Rohdewald 2000-10-24 17:11:12 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: 1.2 (KDE 2.0 >= 20001022)
Severity: normal
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686 (compiled sources)

while composing a message I keep the up arrow pressed. After the first line of the
message is reached the cursor goes up to the Subject then Cc To Identity. Those
are the fields I have displayed.

While I am not sure how standard compliant it is having the up arrow leave the text
and enter other fields it certainly should not enter the Identity field. If you have
several identities and just keep pressing the up arrow you end up toggling the
identity. The danger of accidentally using the wrong identity is too great.
