Description Sander Devrieze 2006-09-18 12:00:20 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.2)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

My sections, subsections, and subsubsections look like this:
\section{\aname{installsource}{Installation from Source}}
\subsection{\aname{installreq}{Installation Requirements}}

Hence, all entries in my structure window start with "\aname...", which is ugly and not practical. It would be nice if Kile ignores *all* tags within section tags.

(fyi: the \aname tag is to specify human readable a name tags when exporting the TeX source to HTML with HeVeA.)

Hello,

this is actually no good idea.
E.g. if you make something like \section{\cal{N}=2 supersymmetry algebra}, if I would follow your suggestion we would end up with
"=2 supersymmetry algebra".
And this is just wrong.
One possible solution would be to offer an regexp where the one can specify the match which should be displayed. BUt these regexps would have to be made by the users (because only they know what they want) and would make the hole thing very difficult for the user.

Can't you redefine the \section command?

We are planning to add the possibility to get user defined sections into the structure view :)

Thanks nevertheless
