Description Hubert Figuiere 2006-09-16 03:41:28 UTC
Version: 1.9.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Going offline should close the connection, Going online might cause it to reopen if a check mail is initiated.

Use case: the laptop you move. I'm at work, I switch to offline, back at home online. The current behaviour make the mail check to timeout. The good behaviour would make it to reconnect.

Yes I can confirm that this is the case, the code I wrote only stops new connections, but you are of course right it should close open connections also. I am trying to get my dev environmnet up and running again to look into these issues.
