Version: 0.10.4 (using KDE 3.5.4, Debian Package 4:3.5.4-3 (testing/unstable)) Compiler: Target: powerpc-linux-gnu OS: Linux (ppc) release 2.6.17 My Knode is configured to send messages in iso-8859-15. As expected, it "downgrades" the charset to us-ascii when the iso one is not needed. The problem is that when I post messages with accented characters from iso-8859-1 (é,à...) Knode sends the message with content-type "text/plain; charset=us-ascii". Knode only uses the correct charset if the message contains specific characters from iso-8859-15 (€,œ). If I configure Knode to send in iso-8859-1, it's the same thing exept that messages with iso-8859-15 specific characters have them replaced by quotation marks as they are not in iso-8859-1. So it's seems like Knode thinks the accented characters are part of us-ascii. Sincerely, Yannick
