Description richlv 2006-09-11 18:11:31 UTC
Version: svn 583161 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
OS: Linux

1. enable dynamic playlist, play some songs, quit amarok
2. start amarok. click on 'previous track'
3. current track indicator disappears. click "play"
4. playback sort of starts with the first already played track - but amarok complains that can not open local file.
the file is perfectly available and accessible by amarok.

additional info :
the first already played track is inserted again in the playlist (as if it was queued) after the first unplayed track. as active/played track is marked first unplayed track.

couldn't be reproduced, reopen if it's still a problem with 1.4.4
Comment 3 richlv 2006-11-06 08:02:24 UTC
revision 602464.
in this revision, at first first of the unplayed tracks is marked as active, then second one is played (the same as previous), but there is no error message about unaccessible track.
so the problem as such is there, only the error message is not shown :)

I'm still having the problem with amarok 1.4.4 on KDE 3.5.5 (Debian unstable). Going to the 'previous track' gives the message 'playlist finished'. Pressing 'play' again restarts the playlist from the second song instead of where it was. How can I reopen the bug?

Here you go :)
Comment 6 richlv 2006-12-18 09:26:32 UTC
do you get 'local file not found' message or is it only playback starting from the second played track in the playlist ?
Comment 7 Giuseppe Bilotta 2006-12-18 13:29:44 UTC
Hm, you're right, I don't get the message anymore. I'll file a new bug.
Comment 8 Alexandre Oliveira 2006-12-18 23:36:35 UTC
Well, closing this one, then.
