Description 2006-09-02 05:08:56 UTC
Version: 1.9.4 (using KDE 3.5.4, Mandriva Linux Cooker x86_64 - Cooker)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.12-24mdk

I have severall identitys and several POP3 accounts configured in kmail.

When composing a new message and when clicking to switch identity, also the default mail transport also switches and that should never happen unless the user wants it.

Did you specify the mail transport in the identity? if not I agree that it shouold change but of course if you specified it in the identity it needs to change as this is the intended behaviour
