Description Thomas Schmidt 2006-08-29 23:27:22 UTC
Version: 2.5.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

When kate loads a file from an url, it requests it with the HTTP accept string:

text/html, image/jpeg, image/png, text/*, image/*, */*

I would prefer to have text/xml in that list and remove the image entries.

Kate doesn't do anything special. If this still persisits in KDE 4 it's probably a KIO issue

Works for me in KDE Frameworks 5.45.
