Did this happen one time, or does it happen regularily or even always? Any problems with startup, too?
It happens always - but there are no other problems - it's therefore more a cosmetic problem.

I suppose this Bug can be considered as fixed already for a long time, I didn't see a crash for a long time, and in KDE 4.10 this works. Man, this bug was from 2006, I don't even remember which KDE version I used back then (3.5.xx?). Anyway, sorry that I didn't come back to this bugreport any sooner.
