Description Wolfgang Rohdewald 2006-08-28 11:48:36 UTC
Version: 1.2.3 (using KDE 3.5.4, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.4-0ubuntu2~dapper1 )
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15.7-ubuntu1abi6

I have run into a situation where it would be quite useful to have such a filter action. It should act on the folder the filtered mail currently sits in.

Instead I could also solve this by using dcop but removing duplicates does not seem to be supported by the dcop interface.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.
Comment 2 Wolfgang Rohdewald 2012-08-18 09:17:31 UTC
Yes, this is unimplemented in kmail2 but I stopped adding kmail2 bug reports for now - developers still have too many basic things to fix. Like 282891 (searching) which is way more important.

Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
Comment 4 Wolfgang Rohdewald 2012-08-19 03:07:50 UTC
I already did confirm it is still unimplemented for kmail2, see above.

Thank you for the bug report.

As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists.

If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.

I have no idea about the status, I stopped using akonadi/kmail many years ago.
