Version: 0.4.5 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Nine times out of ten, when I consult KNemo, I only want to see the "Traffic Plotter" window. Based on this, I think a left-click on the KNemo icon should display the "Traffic Plotter" instead of the "Interface Status". Does that sound like a good idea?
It sounds like you do not prefer the default and want it to be changed to fit your needs. But then it would maybe no longer fit other people needs... you see the problem. I could make it configurable but I am not sure if really everything in KNemo should be configurable. While Gnome has less configuration options KDE is known for its configuration-overkill. No doubt I like the freedom to configure everything to my needs but I think there is a limit. And I am not sure if KNemo has already reached its limit of configurability. I am getting philosophical...
It's okay, don't go to any special trouble. I've since found a way to display the network traffic in the System Guard panel applet. On the philosphical topic, I'm a big fan of KDE's configuration overkill. The ability to reconfigure pretty much everything helps to make it better than both Gnome and WinXP. But I see your point. KNemo is a neat little service that shouldn't become too bloated with unnecessary features.
Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I will be closing this bug.
