Description tech9iner+BugsKDEorg 2006-08-26 17:15:42 UTC
Version: 0.19+ #3129 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

wish for a mode that allows keyboard-based text selection in the chat view. ideally some mouse/keyboard way to find and /or then select or hilight specific text and phrases in the chat view for cutting and pasting or quoting etc.

This would certainly be nice from an accessibility standpoint. I suspect
however that most disable users don't run Konvi.

We'd probably need something akin to the "Caret Browsing Mode" found in most web browsers.

Which would be best implemented in Qt or kdelibs, rather than Konvi.
