OS:                Linux

Kmail renders animated gifs in emails (and probably everything else) even when its window is minimized.
This causes unnecessary cpu usage if a mail with many animated gifs is left opened in the preview pane.
Would it not be better if emails were rendered only when kmail is not minimized?

To reproduce this just open an email with many animated gifs in the preview pane and watch the cpu usage.
Then minimaze kmail. Cpu usage should remain the same.
