Description hevi 2006-08-22 17:54:06 UTC
Version: 3.5.3 (using KDE 3.5.3, Debian Package 4:3.5.3-1 (testing/unstable))
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.17-1-k7

New event window is modal
 * it's connected to main window iconized state
 * it goes over main window

This behaviour makes hard to add new events when the
date information comes from other sources (mail, web-
browser, the korganizer itself, etc) and the desktop
space is limited, due number of applications used.

Target is to get just a New Event window itself on desktop, then on with workflow complete that event/todo information from different sources.

Techically it should not be hard, this is year 2006,
and every decent gui framework has resolved modality
problems.
