I'm sorry, but the crash report doesn't contain any interesting information telling us why KMail crashed. If KMail crashes periodically if it's in the background then it crashes probably while fetching new mail. A bug which caused this to happen for POP accounts was fixed in the most recent version so please try whether updating to KDE 3.5.4 helps.
