Description Tom Adams 2006-08-19 22:43:08 UTC
Version: 1.4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.5.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When starting a stream then quickly starting another track (before the stream's metadata has loaded), the track aquires the stream's metadata.

Reproduction:
- Start a streaming radio station in the playlist
- Quickly switch to another track in the playlist

Actual behaviour:
- The track acquires the stream's metadata (artist, title, length, etc.)

Expected behaviour:
- The track changes uneventfully

The incorrect metadata is present in the playlist and the "edit track information..." dialogue when the track is selected alone. The track's correct metadata is present when selecting "edit track information..." for multiple tracks and switching the dialogue to "track at a time".

This doesn't affect the metadata in the collection, or the file's actual metadata. If the track is left in the playlist between sessions, the metadata does not revert.

couldn't be reproduced, reopen if it's still a problem with 1.4.4
