Version: 1.4.1 / xine engine (using KDE KDE 3.5.3) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages When I am using a shortcut key to seek inside a track it only works if I press the seeking key at regular intervals. If I hold the shortcut key pressed then seeking does not work and the current position is reset to the beginning of the track. This is true for forward and backward seeking. No problems with seeking by using the slidebar gui. Engine: Xine Version:1.4.1
I'm quite sure this is due to a kdelibs bug (or maybe its not a bug). We don't handle the shortcut events ourselves. reassigning.
I can also reproduce the bug by seeking via dcop interface so its not a shortcurt specific problem. If I do "dcop amarok player seekRelative 10" in a regular not too fast interval everthing works fine. Until the interval gets very fast then the current position is reset to the beginning of the track. I guess the same happens if you hold the shortcut key pressed this also results in a fast repetition of the signal (e.g. if you hold down "e" the result is "eeeeeeeee") I think the bug should be reassigned again.
