Description Willi Richert 2006-08-15 10:56:22 UTC
Version: Unbekannt (using KDE 3.5.2, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.2-0ubuntu18.1 dapper)
Compiler:          Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-26-386

I have two mail addresses, of which I use one for mailing lists. Every now and then I forget to choose the right one, resulting in sending the mail under thw wrong address. It is hold back because of unknown identiy.

Would it be possible to make the identity dependent on the receiever via some rules the user can set?
E.g. receiver=="KDE PIM <kde-pim@kde.org>" => identity=mailing list identity.

From bug 146066:
Additionally, the last used identity could also be remembered automatically on a per-receiver base.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.
Comment 5 Luigi Toscano 2012-08-19 00:32:20 UTC
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
Comment 6 dag 2012-08-19 07:10:57 UTC
