Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4) Installed from: Compiled From Sources Compiler: gcc 4.0.3 OS: Linux Some pdfs that i use on a regular basis have graphics that are displayed in the background, behind the text. In kpdf they are rendered in front of the text, obscuring it. I don't know if this is a problem only with the latest version or wether it is pre-existing. I would suspect the pdf, except that it renders just fine in Adobe Acrobat reader on windows. I am unable to test it on adobe acrobat for linux as my system is 64-bit without multi-lib support. I have attached a screen-shot which has been reduced for file transfer. If anyone wants the full size-screen shot at 1440x900 i will happily provide it. If there is any other information i can provide, please let me know. I will be posting a shot from Adobe on Monday for comparison so you can see how it should render. Thank you for all your work on a fine product.
Created attachment 17349 [details] An example of the incorrect rendering This is an example of the graphics that are supposed to be watermarks displaying as foreground and opaque.
Having the pdf would help a lot in trying to fix the problem.
Albert, Yeah, i figured as much and that may be a bit of a problem. I'll see what i can do. This is a PDF that i payed for via rpgdrivethru.com. I don't know if i am authorized to redistribute it, but I'll check. In anycase, i would feel more comfortable emailing it to people individually. I'll check with the company on Monday. Bearcat M.
