Description Martin Brumec 2006-08-11 21:01:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

Here's the situation:

When I insert an audio cd, the audiocd icon shows up on my desktop, then the window asking me what do do with the newborn pops up. If I say open in konqueror it normally opens konqueror and the contents of the audio cd (like it should).

But when I eject that audio cd and insert another one, the desktop icon shows up, shortly thereafter disappears. Then the windows asking me what to do opens. When I open konqueror (for the contents of the audio cd), it shows an empty konqueror window and a message: malformed url.

After a while, when I try it again, it works normally again (once or twice), then the whole story repeats.

I believe it has something to do with the kio-audio cd processes not being killed after a cd is being ejected. After a while they die by themselves and it works again. I also tried to kill them manually, and mounting audiocds started working again...
