That means for example having auto-alarm for contact birthdays or other special meetings as seen in the summary. Birthday dates could also have some mark (color or whatever) to be seen into the kicker calendar applet, as wished by bug 46262. Keep up the good work,
Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list.
KOrganizer now lets you add a "Birthdays and Anniversaries" calendar that shows those dates for your contacts. It automatically shows reminders for those dates, and the calendar color is configurable. Does that satisfy this wish?
