Description Brett Randall 2006-08-09 12:44:01 UTC
Version: 1.9.1 (using KDE 3.5.0, Debian Package 4:3.5.0-2bpo2 (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-13)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.16.14

I use KMail to connect to my Exchange server via IMAP. The IMAP account already has Journals/Tasks/etc created and these cannot be renamed or deleted. I setup disconnected IMAP, then did not subscribe to these extra folders, just to my email folders.

Upon closing and starting KMail, I would receive an error each attempt to synchronise where it would not be able to create the Journals and Tasks folders. Presumably it created the folders locally then tried to synchronise them to the server, where they already existed. This problem persisted until I subscribed to the folders and then setup the groupware settings again.

I haven't included the actual error messages here as hopefully the problem is self-explanatory (and I really don't want to go messing about with my settings as they're working quite nicely at the moment), but if you need them, I can do it... This particular bug isn't affecting me anymore due to the fix I found, but you probably want to look at it in the next releases.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
